Australian Rocketry Association (ARA) members come from all walks of life and all ages. We have
construction workers, medical staff, programmers, truck drivers, and anything else you can think of.
There are even a few rocket scientists among us! Regardless of where you come from and what
you do, there's room in ARA for not only you, but your entire family.

If you are interested in high power rocketry, we encourage you to contact your local member club
(called a Prefecture) and attend their next launch or meeting. A listing of other Prefectures in
Australia and their contact information is available below.

ARA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and operation of amateur
high power rocketry. ARA Flight Certification remains the only rocketry certification standard
which is recognized across ALL Australian States and by the Commonwealth of Australia.

All and any registered ARA members from across Australia or beyond, wishing to attempt
Flight certification, technical, safety or practical examination are most welcomed to attend
this launch event for this purpose.

If this is your intention, you should contact the Queensland FTO Mr. Ashley Stonehouse
