Story of the lost love.....

One of my first 24mm MMT rockets I ever got, many many moons ago.
And by far one of my favourite rockets.

This particular rocket Had at leat 50+ launches under it's belt.

It was a sad day when it got lost on power lines at the dreaded Q.R.S launch site, and of course I never saw it again..

Something you don't see much of...

2 Tommahawks Drag Racing, mine (the one in the picture) launched on an E30, and the other (one with camera) an F35.

as you can see I claimed the win for the Drag race.

So after losing the best rocket I'll ever own, I thought I'd build another one..

But like all good relationships, it's never the same again...

So after a hand full of flight on the new one, and getting no love from it.

I stripped it down, and re-built it,

This Time I added a 29mm MMT with retainer, and got rid of the plastic fins, and did a through the wall Ply fin setup..

She only lasted about 4 flights.. before she went up in a ball of flames, from a CATO of a F35 motors, that shot flames out the wrong end of the engine...

So it's time to re-build again...

Can it bring me the lost love I once had....

Time will tell....

Glassed tube this time around, lets she if she likes a H in the rear end Smile
